FAQ

1. Why should your company use BCG?

We get results.  We are committed to helping you and your organization succeed.  Because of the diverse background of our team, we have the ability to provide a wide array of consulting services suitable to your particular needs and circumstances.  Additionally, we pride ourselves on fitting into your organization and working alongside you.  Finally, we work hard to transfer knowledge, skills and abilities to your enterprise so that when an engagement is completed your organization is left better off for having worked with us.

2. How long has BCG been in business?

BCG has been in business for 20+ years.  During that time we have successfully assisted many businesses. We are invested in the local community, and are very involved in local organizations. We have strong capability in many areas of both Information Technology and Business, and can bring the right solutions and resources to bear on our engagements

3. What makes BCG different from other consulting firms?

Several factors distinguish us from our competitors. First, because of the diversity of our background, skills and experience, we can bring a wide range of solutions to the table. Also, because we are a Nevada firm, and have been for many years, we have a deep knowledge of the unique factors of our local business climate. Finally, we are a “just the right size” organization – large enough to bring the best talent to an engagement, yet small enough to enable us to develop tailored solutions for each project.

4. How much does a typical engagement with BCG cost?

Because our engagements vary, and each and every engagement is unique, it would be difficult to quote a “one size fits all” price. However, our rates are competitive, and if you are interested in a potential engagement with us, we encourage you to contact us to discuss your specific needs.  Our firm often encourages clients to break up larger engagements into phases, with very specific deliverables, so that project success can be evaluated throughout the engagement.

5. What are the next steps?

Just contact us via phone or email (listed on the “Contact” page) and we will respond within one business day.

6. What is a SDVOSB business?

A SDVOSB business is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. The Brennan    Consulting Group, LLC has been certified by the U.S. Veteran’s Administration as a SDVOSB. A SDVOSB business is a small business concern that is not less than 51 percent owned by one or more veterans, with the management and daily business operations controlled by one or more service-disabled veterans.

Executive Order 13360 requires that the federal government give three percent of the total value of all prime contract and subcontract awards to SDVOSB agencies each fiscal year. Government contracting officers may restrict competition to SDVOSB companies and award a sole source or set-aside contract to SDVOSB to meet Executive Order 13360 requirements. Federal buyers are able to write contracts sole sourced to SDVSOB companies. Contracts can be up to $5.5 million for manufacturing and $3.5 for goods and services.

7. What are the benefits of working with a SDVOSB?
  • The ability to award a sole source contract reduces administrative time needed and provides for faster awards.
  • SDVOSB set aside contracts are preferred by most contracting offices.
  • An SDVSOB sole source award significantly reduces contract protests.
  • An agency or prime contractor will receive credit for contracting with an SDVOSB.

BCG is actively seeking opportunities to support prime contractors as a subcontractor or to act as teaming partner for the appropriate opportunities. Please contact BCG to discuss these opportunities.
